These pebbles are hand picked by our team of penguins and keepers directly from the gentoo nests. They are delicately hand-painted by the team at Sea Life Kelly Tarlton's, each with a unique design bringing out the variety of creative talents in our team. With plenty to go round when it comes to breeding season, the gentoos are more than happy to share their pebbles with us to raise awareness and funds for their wild counterparts.

Our intiative
Penguins for Penguins support local charities in New Zealand who do amazing work advocating and caring for our native wildlife. Each painting is created by a penguin at Sea Life Kelly Tarltons through voluntary painting enrichment sessions providing these penguins with mental and physical stimulation. The paintings are then finished and framed to raise money for the Dunedin Wildlife Hospital and Penguin Rescue NZ. These incredible organisations ensure local wildlife, including native penguin populations, are healthy and sustainable.
